Candice Pepe-Finn is a picture book creator and Bayonne, New Jersey native who finds inspiration in pairing images and words that carry emotional weight. Her best ideas tend to arrive while daydreaming to music on her commuter train. Her work focuses on helping people understand and navigate life’s harder moments.

She is also the creator and host of Kids of Overdose, a podcast sharing real stories of people who have lost a parent to overdose or addiction. Candice is often told she brings clarity, steadiness and hope to discussions about grief.
